ABOUT US

The CARE-ED Learning Center is the training institute of Senior Watch Inc. Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. See www.seniorwatch.com. Programs have been developed to assist both formal and informal caregivers increase their skill and knowledge.

Senior Watch was founded by Jean E. Porter and Sharon A. O'Brien, SC; RN, PG; BSW, RSW, CG. in 1987. Care-Ed came into its own through research and development of 18 years of hands-on experience in personal and home support care of the elderly. Senior Watch has been monitoring these results and the changing requests of families to develop the curriculum and seminars that will better prepare us for retirement and ageing health changes. Family caregivers, paraprofessionals and professionals learn about the changes of ageing and the challenges of caregiving.

RN's, RNA's, LPN's and other professionals can see the latest approaches to care from a respected home support provider with over 105 years of combined experience.
